The School Run 5km race is only a couple of weeks away! Please like and share the facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/The-School-Run-5k-Race-7pm-12-June-2018-127517778087141/ - let's get the word out there!
We hope our 5km race on June 12th @ 7.00pm will be a fantastic event at The Diamond and we know it will help to boost our school funds! But we really need volunteers for this event... If you can help us to marshall or by helping with catering, please let us know by commenting on the Seesaw note dated 29/5/18, or simply contact us at school. Marshalling is a priority at the moment - please help us if you can!
We are delighted to partner with Ballymena Runners in promoting a Cullybackey 'Couch to 5K' programme. This programme is a fantastic way to join with others in getting off the sofa, getting active and achieving a goal of running 5 km by the end.
Ballymena Runners are pairing with us by hosting this 5K race in June - all fees and proceeds will be donated to The Diamond!
So why not aim to run the 5K race... and take part in the Cosy Sofa programme as the perfect preparation! Many of the staff are hoping to take part - don't let them show you up!!!!
Have a look at the details and posters below and for more information, or to sign up for the cosy sofa programme visit
Our students who attend musical lessons with Mrs Burnside will perform for family and friends on Thursday morning 19th April in the Assembly Hall. There will be tea, coffee and scones for visitors as you enjoy listening to our talented musicians. Please help us to plan for food and drinks by completing the attendance form below. This is a free event, but there will be an opportunity to make a small donation as we are hoping to purchase a school set of the music tuition manuals.
I’d like to draw your attention to an event being held at Longstone Primary School next week. The ‘Homework Workshop’ will be led by Joan Henderson who holds many years’ experience as an Education Mentor and will look closely at how we, as parents, can support our children at home – through homework and other little activities to reinforce their learning.
Thanks to Mrs Moody for the invitation to The Diamond parents to attend this event. Hopefully, many of you may find this a useful opportunity.
Here you will find important information about upcoming events and term dates.
