Special guests from The Dairy Council visited our P5 and P6 pupils to explain the benefits of eating healthily and exercising regularly.
The McKibbins' annual Threshing Demonstration Day and Steam Rally took place back in November and this year the organisers very kindly decided to donate the proceeds of the event to The Diamond. We are so thankful and thrilled receive this donation of £2534!!! John McKibbin, Robert McKibbin and John Steele came to our Assembly to present the cheque. They are pictured below with some of the children who attended the event. Thank you so much to these men and everyone who was involved in the organisation and running of the Threshing Day.
P6 and P7 enjoyed another afternoon of Scripture Union, thinking about blindness and sight and what it means to be spiritually blind and having our eyes opened.
Miss Ford's class enjoyed taking part in the athletics tournament this year and. They ran, jumped and relayed their way through the morning and had a great time.
The P7 class got up close and personal with some scientific experiments at Cullybackey College. Scientific Sue presented a fantastic show about bubbles, then the kids were able to carry out some experiments in the science department. It was a great day!
Congratulations to our netball team who have continued their success with wins over Carnaughts PS, Carniny PS and Buick Memorial PS. The girls have made us really proud and have represented the school so well as they have played!
